Raised in Wheaton, Illinois, Katherine received her formal training at Salt Creek Ballet under Sergey Kozadayev and Zhanna Dubrovskaya. She graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science in Dance – Arts Administration, graduating cum laude with high departmental distinctions. While at Butler, Katherine performed soloist, demi-soloist, and corps roles in The Nutcracker, Coppélia, and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as soloist roles in contemporary works by Derek Reid and Susan McGuire. Katherine is a member of the Corps de Ballet.
