Come, bear witness to the demonic tale of Jonathan Harker, a young English lawyer, who travels to Transylvania to conclude a real estate transaction. His destination: Castle Dracula. With his head filled with warnings and blessings for his eternal soul, Harker’s adventures turn dark as he realizes he’s a prisoner facing even darker forces. How will it end? … and who gets the last bite?

Special Sensory-Friendly Performance:  DECEMBER 8 at 6:30 PM

Fort Wayne Ballet is happy to partner with the support of AWS Foundation to provide a special Sensory-Friendly Performance of The Nutcracker. These productions are targeted for those with Down Syndrome, Asperger’s, on the Autism spectrum, have hearing impairments, mobility limitations and beyond. There will be lower sound and lighting levels, reduced special effects, designated quiet areas and remote viewing in the lobby, and trained staff on-hand to accommodate families’ needs. Tickets are free. To arrange attendance, please contact Tracy Tritz at ttritz@fortwayneballet.org. This performance is not open to the general public.

In a magical fairy kingdom, Princess Aurora is born to a wonderful King and Queen, and to celebrate, the royal family invites everyone but the wicked fairy, Carabosse, to a lovely party. But Carabosse shows up anyway with evil intentions! Before the party is over, she angrily casts a spell over Princess Aurora, declaring that the Princess will prick her finger and die on her 16th birthday. Quick to defend, the Lilac Fairy casts another spell over Aurora, so she will not die but fall into a deep sleep, only to be awakened by her true love’s kiss … Will her Prince come to save her?
