The Margaret S. Klingenberger Memorial Scholarship Fund provides both need and merit-based scholarships to students at the Auer Academy of Fort Wayne Ballet. To date, the Margaret S. Klingenberger Memorial Scholarship has raised over $25,000. This achievement is a testament to the donor’s generosity and unwavering support for the Auer Academy students.
Margaret Klingenberger was a lifelong supporter of the arts with a great love for ballet and music. She was a ballet instructor at Fort Wayne Ballet in the early years of the academy, was a supporter and board member of the ballet, and felt strongly that the arts help define and separate Fort Wayne as an exceptional community. Upon her passing, her family wanted to create a legacy to celebrate her commitment to and passion for the arts and dance education. They generously started the Margaret S. Klingenberger Memorial Scholarship fund and many others have supported her memory and commitment to dance education.
Thanks to those contributions, the Auer Academy of Fort Wayne Ballet has been able to provide scholarships to 25 dedicated students from August 2023 to November 2024, empowering them to pursue their passion for dance. Your support ensures these young artists have the resources they need to receive top-tier training, build their skills, and grow as dancers and individuals.
