Tracy Tritz

Rehearsal Director & Choreographer, Outreach Director

Tracy started her training in central Wisconsin studying several forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary styles. She studied under James Moore, Joan Karlen, and Susan Gingrasso as a dance major at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Tracy has worked professionally with Jose Mateo, Gus Giordano, Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre, L.A. Danceforce, Jazz Dance L.A., and as a dancer/singer in several musical tours. She also appeared on the Tonight Show as a dancer/singer and performed for many pop artists in concert. Tracy joined Fort Wayne Ballet in 2008 after relocating from Chicago. She also danced for Mikautadze Dance Theatre from 2008-2016. In 2018, Tracy became a Ballet Master and Resident Choreographer for Fort Wayne Ballet. She has created several works for the company including Broken Hallelujah, Bolero, Adagio for Strings in collaboration with Violins of Hope, Moonlight Sonata, Une Nuit a Paris, as well as a full-length production of Dracula. Tracy also serves as faculty in the Auer Academy and as Outreach Director.

 

Tracy is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
