Born in Long Island, New York, Max began his formative training with the Seiskaya Ballet Academy under the direction of Mme. Valia Seiskaya. Later, Max graduated cum laude from Butler University’s department of dance with a BA in Dance Pedagogy with high distinction. Since graduating, Max has worked as a company and guest artist with companies and schools around the country including Orlando Ballet, Grand Kyiv Ballet (Ukraine), United Ballet Theatre, Indianapolis Ballet, Colorado Ballet Society, and Troy University department of Theater and Dance. Max has also had the honor of being invited to dance in several galas alongside artists from internationally acclaimed companies including New York City Ballet, Houston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Estonian National Ballet, and more. In January of 2024, Max was awarded platinum for his 1st place performance of Diana and Acteon Pas de Deux at Universal Ballet Competition in Denver, Colorado.
