Grace Thompson was raised in Benicia, California, and began training with Benicia Ballet School. She joined Diablo Ballet School in 2021, later becoming a trainee with the company for the 2023-2024 season. She has performed in several company productions including Julia Adam’s The Nutcracker Suite, Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadere, Coppélia, and Brian Enos’ Firebird. During Diablo Ballet School’s 2024 Spring Performance, she performed the role of Odette in Act II of Swan Lake. She has spent summers with Kansas City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet San Francisco.
