Originally from Pickerington, Ohio, Gillian grew up training with BalletMet academy. As a student, she performed with the company as Young Clara in Gerald Charles’ The Nutcracker, as well as Child Cinderella and White Cat in the premiere of Edwaard Liang’s Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty. At 16, she joined BalletMet’s trainee program, where she performed the Balanchine works Serenade and Western Symphony. Gillian then danced as a trainee with the Richmond Ballet, performing works by Ma Cong, and as a demi-flower in Stoner Winslett’s The Nutcracker. She is thrilled for her first season with Fort Wayne Ballet!
