Babette Lam

Babette Lam from Springville, Iowa, started dancing at age 3 and later joined Nolte Academy. After high school, she joined BalletMet as a trainee, studying under Edwaard Liang and Timothy Lynch. Babette then joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee, performing in Robert Mills’ Sleeping Beauty. She joined Fort Wayne Ballet in 2017 performing in roles such as the Stepmother from Cinderella, Gerald Arpino’s Light Rain, Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, and Tracy Tritz’s Broken Hallelujah. She has attended several summer intensives including Milwaukee Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. Babette is looking forward to her third season with Fort Wayne Ballet.
