Raised in Massachusetts, Amy began dancing at Betty Gundersen Studio of Dance and in high school she continued at Massachusetts Academy of Ballet, under the instruction of Rose and Charles Flachs. She graduated from Butler University, cum laude with high departmental honors, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Dance–Arts Administration and a minor in Business Administration. Along with many original contemporary works, Amy has performed corps de ballet, demi-soloist, and soloist roles in ballets such as The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, and George Balanchine’s Serenade. This will be Amy’s second season with Fort Wayne Ballet.
