Tatum Farlow

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Tatum began her dance training at the Ballet Memphis School under Janet Parke. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Butler University, graduating cum laude with departmental honors.

Since joining Fort Wayne Ballet in 2019, Tatum has performed in a wide range of works, including Gerald Arpino’s Italian Suite and Light Rain, Edward Stierle’s Empyrean Dances and Concerto Con Brio, Agnes de Mille’s Three Virgins and a Devil, and Jerome Robbins’ Fancy Free. Last season, she appeared in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Mark Godden’s The Rite of Spring, David Ingram’s Les Sylphides, and the iconic Don Quixote.

Tatum looks forward to continuing her artistic journey with Fort Wayne Ballet — both on stage and in the studio — through another season of captivating performances and her work teaching at the Auer Academy.
